Hong Kong Street
Kowloon, Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a cauldron that combines nature and modernity. It brims with life in every street corner and yet, Mother Nature’s best works are often no more than 30 minutes away from the city. Creating beautiful pictures at the Fragrant Harbour is an easy feat.

Hannah's Thoughts:
Temple Street Night Market is a street bazaar like no other. Named after a Tin Hau temple located in the centre of its main drag, it pulsates with colour and noise every night. So intense is the experience, it has served as the backdrop to many movies. But what makes it unique is the fact that it is hemmed in by concrete residential and commercial buildings. Viewed from above, it resembles a major artery, supplying energy and life to the metropolis of Hong Kong.
The vantage point from the top of an old decaying office block, gives a sprawling view of the night market. With the FE 70-200mm F2.8 G Master lens at hand, one is always close to the heat of the action. The glow of the neon canvas tents provided a beautiful montage of patterns and colour. Even when zoomed in, the lens recorded beautiful images clearly – the incredible hallmark of a G Master lens.
