Short film: Happy Taxi Day

This short film puts viewers into the shoes of Lam Kin Wah, an aging taxi driver who is lamenting over his son’s decision to immigrate overseas – taking his beloved granddaughter away from the familiarity of home, and away from him. As he reminisces in his cab, a bubbly young girl hops into his taxi unexpectedly and asks him for a ride home. The weary taxi driver reluctantly agrees, and the pair end up spending a very special day together.
